Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Hora. By using Hora you accept them.
01 About the service Hora is a web app for bookings, run by Petar Hajak in Croatia.
Hora is a web app that lets salons take and manage online bookings. The service is operated by Petar Hajak, Croatia, contact info@hora-booking.com.
02 Who can use it For salons and sole traders. Clients can open their own free account.
Hora is intended for business users (salons and sole traders). By creating an account you confirm you are authorized to do so and will provide accurate information. Salon clients may open their own Hora account to see their appointments.
03 Your account You are responsible for your account and for the staff you invite.
You are responsible for your account, your credentials and the activity of staff you invite. Tell us about any unauthorized access.
04 Subscription, pricing and payment Free is free. Paid is billed up front, cancel anytime, a started period is not refunded.
The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance for the billing period. You can cancel at any time and the service stays active until the end of the paid period; we do not refund a period already started. VAT handling depends on the payment provider. SMS reminders are in preparation and are not included in any plan; when they become available they will be paid with prepaid credits bought in advance.
05 Features in development Anything marked "coming soon" does not exist yet. Do not pick a plan for it.
Hora is under active development. Features marked "coming soon" or "in preparation" are not part of the service until released, and you should not rely on them when choosing a plan. Released features may change, and we will notify you of significant changes.
06 Your responsibilities and client data Your clients’ data is your responsibility. We process it on your instructions.
For the data of your clients you are the controller and are responsible for processing it lawfully and on a valid legal basis. Hora processes it as a processor, on your instructions (see the Data Processing Addendum). If a client opens their own Hora account, Hora is the controller for that account data.
07 Acceptable use No unlawful content, no unsolicited messages, nothing that harms the service.
Hora may not be used for unlawful content, unsolicited messages, infringing the rights of others, or in any way that harms the operation or security of the service.
08 Service availability We try hard, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Hora is early.
We aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Hora is in an early stage, so features may change.
09 Limitation of liability Our liability is capped at what you paid in the previous three months.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profit. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the previous three months.
10 Termination Leave whenever you like. We only close accounts that breach these terms.
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
11 Intellectual property The software and brand are ours, your data is yours.
Hora, its software and brand remain our property. Your data remains yours.
12 Changes to the terms We can update these terms and will tell you about anything significant.
We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes, and continued use means acceptance.
13 Governing law Croatian law applies, before a Croatian court.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, with jurisdiction of the competent court in Croatia.
14 Data Processing Addendum The formal Article 28 part: we process on your instructions and delete at the end.
When Hora processes the personal data of your clients on your behalf, it does so only on your instructions and to provide the service, keeps it confidential, applies reasonable security measures, uses trusted sub-processors (Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare, and Google if you connect Google Calendar), and deletes or returns it when the service ends. This addendum forms part of the agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR.
